The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filomeno Soin hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Fausto Hanni came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Areco FC's Benja Dominguez. But to his dismay, Benja Dominguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Fausto Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Bernaldo made a kick off. Fausto Hanni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benja Dominguez went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the match, Areco FC's Benja Dominguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Hanni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lázaro Lehen charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Lehen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Kikemania FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Lehen. 60 minutes into the match, Natalio Nuñez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fausto Hanni, 0-7. Sixto Bernaldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fausto Hanni came out and tried to block the shot, but Sixto Bernaldo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 64th minute. Igor Cristofor took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Hanni. Fausto Hanni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Fausto Hanni made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Wang Ning Qing sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd match minute, Kikemania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Joachim to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Hanni was a little too slow when Sixto Bernaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-10. Lázaro Lehen was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lázaro Lehen hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With his leg Fausto Hanni managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Areco FC's Igor Cristofor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fausto Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Bernaldo in the 90th minute of play forced Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Fausto Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Areco FC's Benja Dominguez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fausto Hanni. That made the score 0-12 after 91 minutes of play. 95 minutes into the match, Kikemania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benja Dominguez came free, but Fausto Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Areco FC played a much better game than Kikemania FC and deserved their victory. The Kikemania FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
