IKP Wolimierz's Kazimierz Pietras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Weszely in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute György Weszely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Pietras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of IKP Wolimierz booed when Valencia CF Mindszent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Marchena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Tolnai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Gibowski in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Konstanty Sroka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Tolnai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when György Weszely sped through IKP Wolimierz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kazimierz Pietras. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstanty Sroka got free with Viktor Tolnai in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, IKP Wolimierz's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Ayala came free, but Kazimierz Pietras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Szilárd Virág had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kazimierz Pietras. IKP Wolimierz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szilárd Virág was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. György Weszely blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kazimierz Pietras having to make a save.

After 51 minutes, Ksawery Klucznik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IKP Wolimierz and the Valencia CF Mindszent players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the IKP Wolimierz defense, Szilárd Virág kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kazimierz Pietras. The IKP Wolimierz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kazimierz Pietras should have stopped the shot. Carlos Marchena hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Bartosz Kolbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Viktor Tolnai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Szilárd Virág got a free kick in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, György Weszely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters rose to their feet, but György Weszely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kazimierz Pietras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. IKP Wolimierz's Kazimierz Pietras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save IKP Wolimierz from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's Szilárd Virág sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kazimierz Pietras narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
