Arnaldo Macerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Doriva de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Camilo Tartalo sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Lopez couldn't finish the play. Camilo Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Doriva de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Mineiro scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Macerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Isaio to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Mineiro in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Maurinho Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL CERVECERO F.C. the free kick. The throw-in from Juvenal Netto in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Nicasio Ongile. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Isaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doriva de Queirós was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Doriva de Queirós came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Omar Dolcet. But to his dismay, Omar Dolcet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 68 minutes into the game, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Omar Dolcet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doriva de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The supporters of EL CERVECERO F.C. booed when Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Arnaldo Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Mineiro in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo da Silveira during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of EL CERVECERO F.C. booed when Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
