Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julio Emmanuel got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Clementi. Pedro Paulo Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Arsenio Efraim charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Efraim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenio Efraim hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Frank Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Librado having to interfere. Edgardo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Chaves in the 20th minute of the match. Villa Ballester FC's Edgardo Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Chaves in the 21st minute of play. Humberto Xavier made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Tomás Clementi sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Tomás Clementi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Xavier. Tomás Clementi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Chaves in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Librado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo Furlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edgardo Librado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Furlan to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Wágner Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Librado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wágner Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Pedro Luís Coutinho put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pedro Luís Coutinho hit a great ball. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Efraim in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Tomás Clementi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Ballester FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 64th minute, Elder Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Clementi's late challenge caught a Brasilino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Clementi helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Clementi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Furlans short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Edgardo Librado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 75th match minute, Villa Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Efraim to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Frank Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Librado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Clementi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, Villa Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Calixto to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Lehoi in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Clementi came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villa Ballester FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
