Edgardo Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Clementi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgardo Kinsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Clementi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute, Villa Ballester FC's Tomás Clementi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgardo Kinsen. Edgardo Kinsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 17th minute, Tomás Clementi made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Kinsen. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Alvaro Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Edgardo Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Benedicto Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Lobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Ebardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Edgardo Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Elija. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Flavio Urbez hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julio Emmanuel made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Alvaro Vincente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alvaro Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Villa Ballester FC booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Emmanuel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgardo Kinsen. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 79th minute, Agustin Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Tomás Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Villa Ballester FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
