Villa Ballester FC's Anacleto Ebardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Ballester FC from getting a goal against them. Ferman Basabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monitor Huáscar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Ballester FC the free kick. Jonathan Molino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Anacleto Ebardo made a huge save. The Villa Ballester FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monitor Huáscar's performance. The match ended with a win for Monitor Huáscar.
