Inge Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kahraman Kunter having to interfere. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Holger Lidström hit a great ball. Aaron Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coşkun Usman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Niclas Österberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kahraman Kunter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Kahraman Kunter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inge Rosen went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Holger Lidström sped through Lokomotiv Bornova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kahraman Kunter. Aaron Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayati Tokyüz in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Niclas Österberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DIF LEEDS BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Lokomotiv Bornova's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Andréas Linqvist scored to the left of an out of position Kahraman Kunter, making the score, 4-0. In the 34th minute, Niclas Österberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 35 in the game by Niclas Österberg from a close distance when the talented Kahraman Kunter managed to make a qualified save. Lokomotiv Bornova's players were relieved. In the 36th minute Holger Lidström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kahraman Kunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andréas Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Österberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kahraman Kunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niclas Österberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Kahraman Kunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Lidström in the 51st minute of play. Holger Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaç Dalmaz in the 54th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Aaron Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kahraman Kunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Lidström in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Lidström came free, but Kahraman Kunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Niclas Österberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kahraman Kunter was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 70th match minute, Lokomotiv Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayati Tokyüz to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kahraman Kunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Österberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Inge Rosen made a precise shot to the right of Kahraman Kunter. Lokomotiv Bornova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Atacan Kirmanşah's late challenge caught a DIF LEEDS BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atacan Kirmanşah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Atacan Kirmanşah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DIF LEEDS BK's Inge Rosen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lokomotiv Bornova. Niclas Österberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niclas Österberg struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kahraman Kunter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIF LEEDS BK. There was no doubt that DIF LEEDS BK were the better team. DIF LEEDS BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
