Artaç Dalmaz started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred de Amorim during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Fred de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lokomotiv Bornova were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Dragões Barbudos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Çağan Demren took the corner. The corner led Lokomotiv Bornova's Çağan Demren to fire away a dangerous shot which Vicente Fantini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With 6 minutes on the clock, Ricardo Alagoano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dragões Barbudos FC! 14 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's Oscar Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kahraman Kunter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Dragões Barbudos FC booed when Lokomotiv Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağan Demren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Dragões Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes, Lokomotiv Bornova's Çağan Demren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Fantini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lokomotiv Bornova reached it. Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Serter Çağnur 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Vicente Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artaç Dalmaz in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Favoretto in the 31st minute of play forced Lokomotiv Bornova's goalkeeper Kahraman Kunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kahraman Kunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Furlan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Lokomotiv Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Hayati Tokyüz. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Peres was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Dragões Barbudos FC booed when Lokomotiv Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Fatih Özakay didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ernani Linares came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Dragões Barbudos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernani Linares couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Bornova's zone, Benê Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kahraman Kunter came out of the goal and Benê Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Favoretto came free, but Kahraman Kunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Bornova's Coşkun Usman got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goalkeeper Kahraman Kunter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Peres. Vicente Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serter Çağnur, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Serter Çağnur kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Dragões Barbudos FC booed when Lokomotiv Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atacan Kirmanşah didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Furlan. Vicente Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coşkun Usman in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lokomotiv Bornova fully deserved thier win.
