Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alex Nordström kicked off to start the match. Bengt-Rune Wallin made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Clóvis Cabral sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alex Nordström hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Hamberg during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Allan Rudqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Niklas Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gnaget United FC's Niklas Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Nordström in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Axel Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Fågel came free, but Bengt-Rune Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Gnaget United FC's Clóvis Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt-Rune Wallin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Golden Lions FC were furious when Kenneth Forssell was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Christoffer Byström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Axel Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Rudqvist in the 26th minute of play. Allan Rudqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Larsson having to interfere. Allan Rudqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Rudqvist came free, but Niklas Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gnaget United FC's David Hamberg pulled a muscle in his leg after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gnaget United FC's Jens Wester was substituted for David Hamberg. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Svante Sigman got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Axel Samuelsson made a precise shot to the right of Niklas Larsson. Gnaget United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Christoffer Byström scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Rune Wallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Golden Lions FC's Niklas Larsson threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Svante Sigman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Gnaget United FC's Fredric Fågel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Niklas Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Samuelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Rune Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Kling in the 67th minute of the match. Allan Rudqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Gnaget United FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Carl Kling hit a great ball. Axel Samuelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niklas Larsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Samuelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Axel Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Clóvis Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Sven-Erik Valström got a free kick in the 77th minute. Golden Lions FC's Hans Alén got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axel Samuelsson struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Niklas Larsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. Axel Samuelsson in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niklas Larsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Golden Lions FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gnaget United FC had won, even though Golden Lions FC had held more of the ball.
