The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciro Alves's late challenge caught a Gnaget United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Alves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ciro Alves hit a great ball. Oswaldo Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Clóvis Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnaget United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clóvis Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clóvis Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clóvis Cabral in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Damião saved ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 from getting behind. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christoffer Byström was slow to take the kick. During this time Gnaget United FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Gnaget United FC's corner Christoffer Byström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodolfo Damião quite easily take care of the ball. Walmir Freitas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niklas Larsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Walmir Freitas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. After 22 played minutes Gnaget United FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Lustig. In the 25th minute, Christoffer Byström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Rodolfo Damião didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 27th minute of play forced ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's goalkeeper Rodolfo Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christoffer Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Melo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Kling in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Carl Kling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Cabral came free, but Rodolfo Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoffer Byström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walmir Freitas was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Cabral got free with Rodolfo Damião in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clóvis Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rodolfo Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 made a substitution. João Toledo replaced Ciro Linhares. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's goalkeeper Rodolfo Damião, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Jair Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 booed when Gnaget United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Hamberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Clóvis Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gnaget United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clóvis Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Walmir Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Jair Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niklas Larsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With an all-out effort, Gnaget United FC's Rodolfo Damião threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carl Kling, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 88 minutes into the game, Otto Glanselius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gnaget United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 the free kick. In the 88th minute, Otto Glanselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Luiz Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Byström in the 95th minute of the match. The ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
