Roger de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Cano in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Nildo Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Nildo Baptista made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Marsel Spaha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. K.F TIRANA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ the free kick. In the 15th minute of the match, Pedro Luís Porto sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Branden Shelton showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Paco Cano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Roger de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Paco Cano sped through Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger de Souza. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo Baptista got free with Branden Shelton in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Teles in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Palmeira. Avram Iorgulescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger de Souza. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Nildo Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's protests and gave Nildo Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. Nildo Baptista hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kozma Poci in the 37th minute of play. The K.F TIRANA fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when K.F TIRANA's Paco Cano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Branden Shelton made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rafa Netto sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo Baptista got free with Branden Shelton in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half K.F TIRANA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Roger de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wincenty Roman went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when K.F TIRANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Roman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Paco Cano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Roger de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kozma Poci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Baptista in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branden Shelton saved K.F TIRANA from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Baptista in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branden Shelton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching K.F TIRANA's performance. The match ended with a win for K.F TIRANA.
