In the 10th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Gergely to maneuver through the defense. Özdemir Babayiğit made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Yaya Assegaf sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute Siniša Mihajlović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's Csanád Sipos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianus Tambunan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Putra Rewulu's Bagong Pakasi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Özdemir Babayiğit. Özdemir Babayiğit yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Adrianus Tambunan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Bogdán, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Csanád Sipos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szajk LC's Miklós Bogdán got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pär Goy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Goy came free, but Özdemir Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Miklós Bogdán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pär Goy was the one to do the kick off. Hegoi Artime charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hegoi Artime the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Putra Rewulu got a freekick which was hit by Hegoi Artime. Yaya Assegaf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özdemir Babayiğit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Obi Neba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szajk LC and the Putra Rewulu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Obi Neba hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Pär Goy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Adrianus Tambunan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Putra Rewulu's Bagong Pakasi got a free kick in the 64th minute. A collision led to Putra Rewulu getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bagong Pakasi hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Miklós Bogdán came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miklós Bogdán in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Csanád Sipos. In the 75th minute, Pär Goy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Szuper. Özdemir Babayiğit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaya Assegaf in the 87th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Dávid Benkó. In the 93rd minute Bagong Pakasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Szajk LC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Putra Rewulu.
