In the 5th minute, György Udvari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miklós Bogdán in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branden Shelton saved K.F TIRANA from getting behind. Wincenty Roman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Özdemir Babayiğit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. K.F TIRANA's Mao Zhen Xing managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Boldizsár Boldinger in the 30 minute of the game. When Paco Cano came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the K.F TIRANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paco Cano couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Szajk LC's zone, Jorald Lazaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özdemir Babayiğit came out of the goal and Jorald Lazaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jorald Lazaj managed to get in a good position for a shot. K.F TIRANA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorald Lazaj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özdemir Babayiğit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorald Lazaj during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, K.F TIRANA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorald Lazaj to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paco Cano to strike the kick off in the second half. Miklós Bogdán took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Branden Shelton. Branden Shelton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vegard Helmersen's late challenge caught a Szajk LC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vegard Helmersen helped the player get up and apologised. Vegard Helmersen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Roman came free, but Özdemir Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branden Shelton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Csanád Sipos's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Branden Shelton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklós Bogdán in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Szajk LC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kozma Poci fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Özdemir Babayiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Roman in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Csanád Sipos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csanád Sipos in the 77th minute of play forced K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, K.F TIRANA's Vegard Helmersen got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Obi Neba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Branden Shelton skillfully saved the ball. Paco Cano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Roman in the 84th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes K.F TIRANA got a freekick which was hit by Paco Cano. Branden Shelton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklós Bogdán in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute Csanád Sipos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szajk LC's György Udvari got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Szajk LC could leave the field as winners, despite K.F TIRANA having more of the ball for most of the match.
