The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Robinson Paterson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Enol. Brujas KV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robinson Paterson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Robinson Paterson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rodrigo Enol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Centenario Bohemio's Maximiliano Javiero got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Brujas KV getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Adrian Naelio hit a great ball. Wilfredo Lobo scored 1-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Enol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Gomar came free, but Rodrigo Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Lobo in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Silvestre Haitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Centenario Bohemio's Ignacio Bessone got control of the ball when Arnaldo Rufio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brujas KV's Rodrigo Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Oliveiro in the 30th minute of play. When Centenario Bohemio's Robinson Paterson in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brujas KV's goalie prevented a goal. Wilfredo Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Firman Gomar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ignacio Bessone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Atauri in the 34th minute of play. Maximo Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Bessone having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinson Paterson in the 39th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Rodrigo Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Brujas KV booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinson Paterson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Vanacker came free, but Ignacio Bessone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Enol came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Centenario Bohemio's Wilfredo Lobo. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Lobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Firman Gomar was the one to do the kick off. Brujas KV's Rodrigo Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firman Gomar in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Arnaldo Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Bessone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Lobo in the 58th minute of play. Rodrigo Enol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Brujas KV's Rodrigo Enol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Brujas KV from getting a goal against them. The corner led Centenario Bohemio's Froilan Rico to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Enol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Gomar came free, but Rodrigo Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Firman Gomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinson Paterson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Enol made a huge save. Rodrigo Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Lobo in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Gomar came free, but Rodrigo Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinson Paterson took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Enol. Rodrigo Enol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Lobo in the 77th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Rodrigo Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Brujas KV getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Silvestre Haitz hit a great ball. Centenario Bohemio's Froilan Rico shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rodrigo Enol but with some difficulty. Ignacio Bessone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Berdaitz in the 81st minute of the match. Rodrigo Enol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firman Gomar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rodrigo Enol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Lobo went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinson Paterson got free with Rodrigo Enol in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Centenario Bohemio played a much better game than Brujas KV and deserved their victory. The Brujas KV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
