The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yaqub Aydinov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 75th minute Diego Becker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Péter Čech got control of the ball when Robinson Paterson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Yaqub Aydinov came free, but Ignacio Bessone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
