The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Melo in the 20th minute of play forced Legacy Youth Academy's goalkeeper Lisandro Rameriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Faustino Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger de Souza was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Teles. Roger de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Montez in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Legacy Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Montez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Diego Barros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lisandro Rameriz. The goal made the score 1-1. With an all-out effort, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Lisandro Rameriz threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Luís Porto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th match minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Porto to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Roger de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pedro Luís Porto hit a great ball. Lisandro Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's zone, Wilfredo Oliveiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger de Souza came out of the goal and Wilfredo Oliveiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Oliveiro got free with Roger de Souza in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lisandro Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Montez in the 74th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Oliveiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger de Souza. Wilfredo Oliveiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Clemente Teles hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Faustino Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Wilfredo Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legacy Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Oliveiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Faustino Montez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Legacy Youth Academy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
