The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szajk LC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicolas Mosca was slow to take the kick. During this time Centenario Bohemio's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Centenario Bohemio's Robinson Paterson to a score. 1-1 in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Csanád Sipos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Bessone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 30th minute when Csanád Sipos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Miklós Bogdán blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignacio Bessone having to make a save. After 37 played minutes Centenario Bohemio got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Lattanzio. Ignacio Bessone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csanád Sipos in the 41st minute of play. Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Szajk LC from getting a goal against them. When Robinson Paterson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Özdemir Babayiğit was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

The wind increased when Firman Gomar made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Becker in the 53rd minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
