Sandu Geambașu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sören Termander came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandu Geambașu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Per Stigsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st match minute, Vama Veche ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Iosif to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Gică Zoreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sören Termander. Gunnarsbyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gică Zoreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gică Zoreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sören Termander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Leif Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ivan Strugure made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Olof Bergkvist during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Vama Veche ™ a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. After some careless play in the Gunnarsbyn defense, Sandu Geambașu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sören Termander. The Gunnarsbyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sören Termander should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vama Veche ™ fully deserved thier win.
