Jeremias Marcones made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Bernardino Blai sent off a good shot on target. Brujas KV's Rodrigo Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Chus in the 8th minute of play. Aquilino Tirso hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Faustino Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Legacy Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Rosio. Brujas KV's Generoso Fernandes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jeremias Marcones but with some difficulty. Rodrigo Enol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Montez in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Enol saved Brujas KV from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Faustino Gurutz got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Montez in the 27th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Rodrigo Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Atauri during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximo Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jaime Leguizamón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Montez in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Maximo Atauri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Leguizamón came free, but Rodrigo Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Leguizamón hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Legacy Youth Academy getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Fabian Rosio hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Montez was the one to do the kick off. Brujas KV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Faustino Montez scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Enol, making the score, 1-1. Jaime Leguizamón's late challenge caught a Brujas KV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Leguizamón helped the player get up and apologised. 61 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Blai came free, but Jeremias Marcones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Enol came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Legacy Youth Academy's Jaime Leguizamón. But to his dismay, Jaime Leguizamón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Faustino Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Enol having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Oliveiro came free, but Rodrigo Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Montez got free with Rodrigo Enol in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brujas KV's Rodrigo Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Montez in the 74th minute of play. Brujas KV's Rodrigo Enol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Brujas KV from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Hans Vanacker got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Brujas KV's Rodrigo Enol got control of the ball when Jaime Leguizamón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brujas KV's Rodrigo Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Montez in the 94th minute of play. The Legacy Youth Academy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Legacy Youth Academy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
