In the 17th minute, Rigoberto Santxol fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Javier Aubets, passed just outside the right post. After 19 played minutes ............ got a freekick which was hit by James Lezana. James Lezana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Santiago Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Aubets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Aubets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Beltza in the 28th minute. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Celestino Curcio hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Candido Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Aubets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Borras hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Javier Aubets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Santxol in the 35th minute. After 35 minutes, Zenaido Baz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ............ and the Mainumby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes ............ got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Baz. ............'s Javier Aubets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save ............ from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zenaido Baz to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Honorato Omero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Aubets. ............'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Omero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Santiago Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenaido Baz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Armando Beltza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Javier Aubets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the game, Zenaido Baz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Gau. Zenaido Baz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. 78 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goalkeeper Santiago Gau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenaido Baz. In the 80th minute Zenaido Baz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Gerardo Oinatz notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of ............'s Javier Aubets. Javier Aubets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honorato Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ............'s Zenaido Baz got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes ............ got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Ubago. The supporters of ............ booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mainumby walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
