After 3 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Lidon. If Fedele Scirea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Igon in the 8th minute of play forced Set Fire's goalkeeper Delmiro Rosalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when Set Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Dziura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Paolo Bautista got a free kick in the 13th minute. Flavio Jaka Jamba hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Set Fire's Delmiro Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Rufio in the 17th minute of play. Piquirenda FC's Bartolo Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Scirea in the 24th minute of play. Delmiro Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sasho Amiorkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bartolo Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sasho Amiorkov in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Piquirenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Burutzagi to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Fedele Scirea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartolo Amato. Piquirenda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Scirea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bartolo Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Scirea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sasho Amiorkov during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Set Fire got a freekick which was hit by Sasho Amiorkov. In the 44th minute Serafin Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Dziura in the 46th minute of the match. When Magno Jaka Jamba fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Set Fire's protests and gave Magno Jaka Jamba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Magno Jaka Jamba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the game, Pablo Rufio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delmiro Rosalio. Pablo Rufio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Rufio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bartolo Amato was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Fedele Scirea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fedele Scirea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Bartolo Amato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Scirea's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 68th match minute, Piquirenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Bautista to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Set Fire getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hélio Cunha hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Igon in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmiro Rosalio saved Set Fire from getting behind. Piquirenda FC's Bartolo Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Scirea in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Set Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Rufio came free, but Delmiro Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Fedele Scirea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Amato was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Scirea in the 90th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Pablo Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Amato was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fedele Scirea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 97 minute of play. Set Fire's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
