Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Piquirenda FC's Pablo Rufio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Serafin Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes of play, Piquirenda FC's Serafin Igon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Nilson Novaes got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Pablo Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquirenda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Rufio scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bartolo Amato made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Egídio Vaz sent off a good shot on target. Serafin Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Paraíba having to interfere. In the 25th minute Franco Mastantuono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Piquirenda FC's Serafin Igon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlando Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafin Igon went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Bartolo Amato made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Egídio Vaz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Rufio in the 34th minute of play forced TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Orlando Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piquirenda FC's Pablo Rufio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Piquirenda FC's Bartolo Amato got control of the ball when Egídio Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Orlando Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Igon in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betinho de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bartolo Amato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-. Orlando Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egídio Vaz to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Piquirenda FC's Serafin Igon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orlando Paraíba. That made the score 0-5 after 52 minutes of play. In the 55th minute, Pablo Rufio made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Paraíba. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 61 minutes, Nilson Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- and the Piquirenda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Novaes. After a defensive mix-up in TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s zone, Franco Mastantuono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Paraíba came out of the goal and Franco Mastantuono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Orlando Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. Pablo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Paraíba having to interfere. Rafael Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Piquirenda FC's Franco Mastantuono shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Orlando Paraíba but with some difficulty. Pablo Rufio showed that he had a good understanding of the play in the 77th match minute when he surprised TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s defense and shot 0-7 in the right cross. Orlando Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franco Mastantuono in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Franco Mastantuono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piquirenda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Nando das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piquirenda FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
