After 5 minutes of play, Mainumby's Gerardo Oinatz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Boklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Haeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilhelm Boklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Oinatz went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Candido Suero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mainumby's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Suero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilhelm Boklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Rigoberto Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Boklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mainumby booed when FC Momlinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mainumby's Gerardo Oinatz got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilhelm Boklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Beltza in the 37th minute of the match. Karl-Axel Olsson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Oinatz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Boklund was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Candido Suero scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilhelm Boklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Haeger to make the kick off. Vilhelm Boklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Beltza in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Eric Haeger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Gau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Mainumby's Honorato Omero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vilhelm Boklund. That made the score 1-4 after 64 minutes of play. Vilhelm Boklund didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Vilhelm Boklund made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Rigoberto Santxol sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Oinatz in the 74th minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Vilhelm Boklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Vilhelm Boklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Beltza. Gerardo Oinatz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. When the match was over Mainumby could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Momlinho throughout the match.
