In the 6th match minute, MICE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefanos Stavroulis to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Rufio struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Filippos Serametakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquirenda FC. In the 8th minute, Serafin Igon made a precise shot to the right of Filippos Serametakis. MICE F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of MICE F.C. booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Filippos Serametakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Amato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filippos Serametakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Igon in the 22nd minute of play. Filippos Serametakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Serafin Igon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Filippos Serametakis made a huge save. After a rather tough play, MICE F.C.'s Eutichios Karanasios got a free kick in the 86th minute. Piquirenda FC's Franco Mastantuono shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Filippos Serametakis but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Igon got free with Filippos Serametakis in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pablo Rufio might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filippos Serametakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Rufio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute of the match, Serafin Igon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filippos Serametakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dante Burutzagi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippos Serametakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nunez Playo during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Nunez Playo hit a great ball. Piquirenda FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
