Manuel Astudillo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Astudillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Manuel Astudillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Robustiano Aznaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Hibai skillfully saved the ball. Felipe Galindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Piquirenda FC's Bartolo Amato got control of the ball when Manuel Astudillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damian Urko charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Urko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when Club Atlethico Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Urko didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Piquirenda FC's Serafin Igon in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Rufio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the last second Manuel Hibai throw himself and got hold of the ball when Serafin Igon in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 54 minutes into the game, Pablo Rufio lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Manuel Hibai. In the 56th minute, Nunez Playo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Mastantuono scored 1-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Hibai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Orlandus was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bartolo Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Cordareo in the 76th minute of play. Serafin Igon's late challenge caught a Club Atlethico Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Igon helped the player get up and apologised. Serafin Igon hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Bartolo Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Piquirenda FC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Club Atlethico Talleres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Franco Mastantuono took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Hilario Abarca heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Serafin Igon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Hibai having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Club Atlethico Talleres lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
