After 16 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Fernado. In the 19th minute, Israel Oihenarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emmanouil Georgiadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Kapareliotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trifillia.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventud Antoniana the free kick. In the 23rd minute of the match Eliseo Ricart shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Panagiotis Kolleris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dimos Violopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Celso Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Juventud Antoniana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Ricart to maneuver through the defense. When Dimos Violopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Trifillia.FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimos Violopoulos couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Trifillia.FC defense, Mauro Fernado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panagiotis Kolleris. The Trifillia.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panagiotis Kolleris should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Eliseo Ricart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panagiotis Kolleris. Trifillia.FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Ricart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 44th minute, Ciriaco Seber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventud Antoniana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Rigoberto Mannie sped through Trifillia.FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Panagiotis Kolleris. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
