In the 2nd match minute, Minotauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Damião to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Ferrer in the 5th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Homer Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni de Toledo should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Damião who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Hasret Şahinalp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Umbruso in the 23rd minute of play. Hasret Şahinalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Vasconcelos in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Homer Gol came free, but Giovanni de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Tales Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minotauro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tales Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Homer Gol went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Emílio Matorin's late challenge caught a Simoneta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Minotauro getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Emílio Matorin hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Gualterio Iraitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giovanni de Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Simoneta FC booed when Minotauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Minotauro made a substitution. Sandro Quintal replaced Tales Vasconcelos. The Minotauro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Simoneta FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Homer Gol made the kick off in the second half. Homer Gol struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Giovanni de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simoneta FC. Hasret Şahinalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Damião in the 58th minute of the match. Simoneta FC made a substitution. Silvestre Garoa replaced Enzo Ferrer. Minotauro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Paulo Mendonça in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Matorin. In the 71st minute, Abel Umbruso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Giovanni de Toledo, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Quintal in the 72nd minute of play forced Simoneta FC's goalkeeper Hasret Şahinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Minotauro's Ernesto Damião made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hasret Şahinalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simoneta FC's Florentino Laurin was substituted for Abel Umbruso. Hasret Şahinalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Damião in the 91st minute of play. When Minotauro's Ernesto Damião in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simoneta FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute of the match, Homer Gol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giovanni de Toledo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Florentino Laurin took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni de Toledo. Giovanni de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Simoneta FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
