Spectators: 7578 (Terracing: 5684, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chuttur Forte kicked off to start the match. Chuttur Forte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Higuita having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goalkeeper René Higuita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Corrêa. René Higuita was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Casimiro Gines capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Casimiro Gines really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 11th minute, Tiago Corrêa made a precise shot to the right of René Higuita. Kaplan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tiago Corrêa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, René Higuita skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. René Higuita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Corrêa in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Casimiro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Quinito's late challenge caught a Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Quinito helped the player get up and apologised. Agustin Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Verissimo KFCH F.C. were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Kaplan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Gustavo Messias took the corner. Chuttur Fortes short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got René Higuita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 38th minute of the match Verissimo KFCH F.C. got a corner. Kaplan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Gustavo Messias ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tiago Corrêa took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Higuita. René Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Tiago Corrêa sped through Kaplan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of René Higuita. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chuttur Forte in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René Higuita saved Kaplan from getting behind. With 57 minutes on the clock, Joaquim Freitas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After recieving a nice pass, Kaplan's Serafin Lop tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. René Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Chuttur Forte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. René Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chuttur Forte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Chuttur Forte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verissimo KFCH F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 77 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Ledesma. Matias Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Cordario in the 79th minute of play. Matias Haimar made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Serafin Froylan sent off a good shot on target. If Serafin Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alim Eslem came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Verissimo KFCH F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alim Eslem couldn't finish the play. Kaplan's René Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Gines in the 95th minute of play. Verissimo KFCH F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kaplan for a fine match.
