Wilfredo Cordario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zenon Cipinski firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Kaplan's zone, Gustaw Kordalewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Higuita came out of the goal and Gustaw Kordalewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Kacper Malik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Froylan succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The Kaplan fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Kaplan's Abelardo Ledesma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lucio Soin took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zenon Cipinski. Zenon Cipinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Gustaw Kordalewski struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. René Higuita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galena Kielce. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kacper Malik to make the kick off. Zenon Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Soin in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Cipinski saved Galena Kielce from getting behind. Lucio Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaplan's René Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kacper Malik in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kaplan's Agustin Quinito got a free kick in the 61st minute. Zenon Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Ledesma in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Froylan in the 68th minute of play forced Galena Kielce's goalkeeper Zenon Cipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Filip Wielowiejski suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Serafin Lop's late challenge caught a Galena Kielce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Lop helped the player get up and apologised. Galena Kielce's Hugon Ruszkowski was substituted for Filip Wielowiejski. In the 72nd minute, Serafin Lop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Pisarczyk struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. René Higuita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galena Kielce. In the 87th minute, Kacper Malik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Galena Kielce booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. René Higuita made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Wiktor Domanski sent off a good shot on target. Kaplan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
