The supporters of FC Gladiators Milošová booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Poncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Gladiators Milošová's Juraj Šesták got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juraj Šesták in the 5th minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper René Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Ledesma charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Ledesma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abelardo Ledesma hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Smatana in the 12th minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper René Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 13 minutes on the clock, Narciso Eriz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Narciso Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Juraj Šesták shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but René Higuita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Ledesma in the 16th minute of play forced FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Binjamin Provoost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Juraj Šesták shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. René Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matej Tásler, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Abelardo Ledesma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gladiators Milošová's Binjamin Provoost was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Serafin Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Kaplan's Serafin Froylan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Binjamin Provoost narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Ledesma in the 29th minute of play forced FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Binjamin Provoost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Serafin Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaplan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Abelardo Ledesma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Binjamin Provoost was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 35 minutes FC Gladiators Milošová's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafin Lop who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Kaplan's corner Wilfredo Cordario fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Binjamin Provoost quite easily take care of the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Kaplan got a corner. FC Gladiators Milošová's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafin Lop ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Serafin Lop almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Gladiators Milošová's Binjamin Provoost did a great save. 45 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Ledesma came free, but Binjamin Provoost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Matej Tásler made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Matej Tásler put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of René Higuita. In the 61stth minute of the game Matej Tásler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kaplan's René Higuita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th match minute, FC Gladiators Milošová was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Bronkala to maneuver through the defense. When Serafin Froylan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Kaplan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Froylan couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Pavol Šmajda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Gladiators Milošová and the Kaplan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Gladiators Milošová's Pavol Šmajda got a free kick in the 67th minute. With a little luck, FC Gladiators Milošová's Binjamin Provoost got control of the ball when Serafin Froylan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Binjamin Provoost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Ledesma in the 74th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Abelardo Ledesma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gladiators Milošová's Binjamin Provoost was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilfredo Cordario's late challenge caught a FC Gladiators Milošová's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Cordario helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Wilfredo Cordario hit a great ball. FC Gladiators Milošová's Juraj Šesták couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kaplan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Ledesma in the 81st minute of play forced FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Binjamin Provoost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Binjamin Provoost didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafin Froylan went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 91 minutes of play, FC Gladiators Milošová's Matej Tásler made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. René Higuita was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Matej Tásler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. René Higuita was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
