Arne Ambjörnsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maciej Hoffman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Ludomir Szarmach put in a rough tackle. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariusz Motyl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gwidon Rydzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 90 minutes of play, Tomitak Wrocław's Mariusz Motyl made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Ambjörnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Tomitak Wrocław players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
