In the 2nd minute, Gottfrid Rang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Åke Bank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Nel in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Åke Bank saved Surahammar from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Per-Oskar Tinglöv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surahammar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yofré AFC the free kick. Oscar Chaime's shot from long distance in the 28th minute was not bad at all, but Surahammar's Jens-Åke Bank knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Delmiro Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Aaron Mero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Lindmark in the 38th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Yofré AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Surahammar:s goal. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Surahammar. Rudolf Larsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aaron Mero. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Nel came free, but Jens-Åke Bank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Surahammar got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Tinglöv. Marcos Guerau might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Åke Bank. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Guerau ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Leonardo Brolin got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Nel came free, but Jens-Åke Bank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Brolin charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Brolin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Valentin Nel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Bank was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Nel in the 69th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Bank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Lindmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aaron Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
