In the 2nd minute, Giovani Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Giovani Sanches got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Pragmáticos 1903's Naldo Barbosa in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalie prevented a goal. After 7 played minutes Fortuna 86 Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Makowski. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, João Adolfo Vander took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marian Janoško to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Naldo Barbosa got a free kick in the 16th minute. Vito Furlan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ariel-Mauricio Borysiuk, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ismael de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Poteralski in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Fortuna 86 Szczecin booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radowit Poteralski in the 22nd minute of the match. Marcin Dyczkowski took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael de Queiroz. Ismael de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Radowit Poteralski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Zachary Cwojdak made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Vander in the 32nd minute of play forced Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Marian Janoško to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Piotr Barowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizinho Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Fortuna 86 Szczecin were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Linhares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
