After 5 minutes of play, Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam de Reyck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Eduardo Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam de Reyck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Sergipano in the 9th minute of the match. Stephen Camps kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Pirani came free, but Adam de Reyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pirani took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam de Reyck. Adam de Reyck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Adam de Reyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, João Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam de Reyck. Olavarria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 26 played minutes Olavarria FC got a freekick which was hit by Bert Vercruysse. Adam de Reyck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Pirani went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute, Waldemar Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vascogoianiense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. João Pirani scored 0-6 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam de Reyck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Olavarria FC defense, Carlos Eduardo Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam de Reyck. The Olavarria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam de Reyck should have stopped the shot.

An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 52nd minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Adam de Reyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavarria FC's Adam de Reyck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pirani in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Eduardo Sergipano in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam de Reyck saved Olavarria FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Olavarria FC's Thommy Vandeput got a free kick in the 60th minute. Carlos Eduardo Sergipano's shot from long distance in the 61st minute was not bad at all, but Olavarria FC's Adam de Reyck knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Carlos Eduardo Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Adam de Reyck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 66th minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Adam de Reyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam de Reyck was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and João Pirani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Pirani really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Eduardo Sergipano in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam de Reyck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adam de Reyck. Adam de Reyck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. With a little luck, Olavarria FC's Adam de Reyck got control of the ball when Waldemar Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, João Pirani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam de Reyck. João Pirani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. In the 93rd minute, Anderson Valladares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adam de Reyck. The goal made the score 0-12. João Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam de Reyck having to interfere.
