With a little luck, Vascogoianiense FC's Bernardo Corrêa got control of the ball when Márcio Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldemar Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, AllRaf EC's Cauan Pena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathew Goncalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Bernardo Corrêa made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Márcio Massa could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Bernardo Corrêa however easily saved by the left post. Márcio Massa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernardo Corrêa firmly grabbed it by the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Cauan Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AllRaf EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vascogoianiense FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, AllRaf EC's Cauan Pena got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes AllRaf EC got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Pena. Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Egídio de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Matheus Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when AllRaf EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wellington Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute of the match, Márcio Massa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Corrêa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wellington Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Sergipano in the 41st minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when AllRaf EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matheus Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matheus Paraíba during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matheus Paraíba hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes AllRaf EC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio de Souza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Massa in the 70th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Massa in the 74th minute of play. Wellington Fantini came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bebeto Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Bebeto Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Wellington Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Wellington Fantini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
