Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adriano Neves took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gustavo Brasil came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani. But to his dismay, João Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 7th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pirani took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Brasil. Gustavo Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. João Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gustavo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Belotaurus FC's zone, João Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Brasil came out of the goal and João Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Carlos Eduardo Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Sergipano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gustavo Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute Carlos Eduardo Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Vascogoianiense FC's corner Carlos Eduardo Sergipano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gustavo Brasil quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pirani in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Sergipano came free, but Gustavo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Vianna in the 31st minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Aloísio Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belotaurus FC's Gustavo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pirani in the 37th minute of play. When Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belotaurus FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belotaurus FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Pirani made a kick off. In the 51st minute Aloísio Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute João Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gustavo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Sergipano. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute João Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Belotaurus FC's Gustavo Brasil got control of the ball when João Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Renato Arantes's late challenge caught a Vascogoianiense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Renato Arantes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Paulo Renato Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Belotaurus FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gino Lopez hit a great ball. Gustavo Brasil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carlos Eduardo Sergipano. Adriano Neves scored 1-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matheus Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. João Pirani struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gustavo Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vascogoianiense FC. After some careless play in the Belotaurus FC defense, Carlos Eduardo Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Brasil. The Belotaurus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Brasil should have stopped the shot. João Piranis short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Gustavo Brasil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Carlos Eduardo Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Pirani. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Vascogoianiense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Aloísio Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Vascogoianiense FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
