An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Gines in the 5th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Hatemi Cire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, AL TOKE FC's Jimeno Dalmu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hatemi Cire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of AL TOKE FC booed when istanbulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Latif Şakir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hatemi Cire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Dalmu in the 16th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Genaro Tabb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hatemi Cire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. istanbulls's Hatemi Cire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Dalmu in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Emrah Sedat got free with Albano Betadur in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Betadur made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Patric Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to AL TOKE FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jimeno Dalmu hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Dalmu during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jimeno Dalmu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jimeno Dalmu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The corner led AL TOKE FC's Jimeno Dalmu to fire away a dangerous shot which Hatemi Cire despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Nafiz Özaydın fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored istanbulls's protests and gave Nafiz Özaydın a yellow card for diving instead. Nafiz Özaydın kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Genaro Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Patric Bierhoff made the kick off in the second half. Hatemi Cire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Tabb in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Genaro Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatemi Cire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AL TOKE FC's Rogelio Cai got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, istanbulls's Mustafa Emrah Sedat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albano Betadur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hatemi Cire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Quintan in the 59th minute. Jimeno Dalmu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Hatemi Cire made a huge save. In the 68th minute of the match, Genaro Tabb tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hatemi Cire saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. istanbulls's Hatemi Cire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Gines in the 69th minute of play. Ahmet Baki Uzsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Hatemi Cire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Tabb, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Hatemi Cire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Quintan in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Ladislao Quintan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hatemi Cire. The goal made the score 1-3. When istanbulls's Patric Bierhoff in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hatemi Cire was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 91 minutes of play istanbulls's Yavuz Selim Yücelay was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd minute, Yavuz Selim Yücelay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Emrah Sedat scored 2-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albano Betadur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The istanbulls fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AL TOKE FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
