After some careless play in the ErbaA KartaLı defense, Santos Montel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Fiori. The ErbaA KartaLı fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Fiori should have stopped the shot. Gonzalo Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahsin Çalımbay in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, ErbaA KartaLı's Frank Fiori got control of the ball when Jaime Guillem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Montel in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Fiori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Serter Doğay however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Jaime Guillem got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Frank Fiori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Montel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Jaime Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Guillem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The Atlético Rio Cuarto fans cheered their team off the field, for while ErbaA KartaLı had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
