Loures's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorbjørn Engsholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 18th minute, Wolfgang Bartolini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Vilalobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 24th minute, Thorbjørn Engsholm made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Vilalobos. Loures's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Gerhart Almlev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nicolas Vilalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wolfgang Bartolini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Norberto Barbosa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Nicolas Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerhart Almlev, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Saco FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Thorbjørn Engsholm hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Thorbjørn Engsholm took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Nicolas Vilalobos to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th match minute, Loures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Lobo to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, Loures's Lucílio Soeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jannich Brolyng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loures reached it. The audience was convinced that Artur Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jannich Brolyng was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Jannich Brolyng came out of the goal and Isidro Diegues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Saco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
