After a defensive mix-up in ConChanfle FC's zone, Mustafa Emrah Sedat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xosepe Moreda came out of the goal and Mustafa Emrah Sedat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patric Bierhoff took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xosepe Moreda. Xosepe Moreda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Haritz Arberas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ConChanfle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave istanbulls the free kick. In the 16th match minute, ConChanfle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haritz Arberas to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sustrai Madinabeitia sped through istanbulls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hatemi Cire. Haydar Özdinç struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Xosepe Moreda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for istanbulls. istanbulls's Latif Şakir got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gutxi Olar in the 30th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Hatemi Cire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xosepe Moreda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patric Bierhoff's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Xosepe Moreda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patric Bierhoff went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Hatemi Cire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gutxi Olar, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Bilge Kağan Ergalip received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hatemi Cire came out and tried to block the shot, but Bilge Kağan Ergalip slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 47th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patric Bierhoff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, ConChanfle FC's Sustrai Madinabeitia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hatemi Cire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Hatemi Cire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilge Kağan Ergalip, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. ConChanfle FC's Sandu Tiberiu pulled a muscle in his back after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mustafa Emrah Sedat's late challenge caught a ConChanfle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Emrah Sedat to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Sustrai Madinabeitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hatemi Cire. istanbulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sustrai Madinabeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 73 minutes into the match, ConChanfle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Bierhoff came free, but Xosepe Moreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Bilge Kağan Ergalip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Latif Şakir fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored istanbulls's protests and gave Latif Şakir a yellow card for diving instead. ConChanfle FC made a substitution. Balesio Bueno replaced Sustrai Madinabeitia. Latif Şakir kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match.
