ConChanfle FC's Quentin Hoyos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sustrai Madinabeitia took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonzalo Regis. Gonzalo Regis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Gutxi Olar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gonzalo Regis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Kağan Ergalip came free, but Gonzalo Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Sustrai Madinabeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Sustrai Madinabeitia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ConChanfle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Gonzalo Regis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sustrai Madinabeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gonzalo Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sustrai Madinabeitia in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Jaime Guillem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ConChanfle FC's Xosepe Moreda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Montel in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Gutxi Olar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Regis. Atlético Rio Cuarto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gutxi Olar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sustrai Madinabeitia in the 47th minute of play forced Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Gonzalo Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Montel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Santos Montel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xosepe Moreda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute Bilge Kağan Ergalip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Gonzalo Regis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xosepe Moreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Montel in the 62nd minute of play. Atlético Rio Cuarto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santos Montel in the 63rd minute. The corner led to Atlético Rio Cuarto's Marcelo Roldan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gonzalo Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilge Kağan Ergalip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rocio Acebero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaime Guillem came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Atlético Rio Cuarto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Guillem couldn't finish the play. ConChanfle FC's Balesio Bueno was substituted for Sustrai Madinabeitia. In the 80th minute, Santos Montel made a precise shot to the right of Xosepe Moreda. ConChanfle FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Gonzalo Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutxi Olar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Rocio Acebero took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Gonzalo Regis to make any attempt to save it. Gonzalo Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gutxi Olar in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, ConChanfle FC's Balesio Bueno made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonzalo Regis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Balesio Bueno got free with Gonzalo Regis in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
