Hatemi Cire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 卓坚昂 in the 17th minute of play. 卓坚昂 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hatemi Cire having to make a save. Hatemi Cire made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Orbay Kutunalp sent off a good shot on target. ASLANAS's 卓坚昂 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hatemi Cire in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Patric Bierhoff came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the istanbulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patric Bierhoff couldn't finish the play. Kaan Erginsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. istanbulls's Hatemi Cire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bican İleri in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bican İleri got free with Hatemi Cire in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bican İleri's late challenge caught a istanbulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bican İleri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Bican İleri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, ASLANAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Baki Uzsoy came free, but Kerimhan Bürge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Kaan Erginsoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kerimhan Bürge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haydar Özdinç hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 卓坚昂 to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the istanbulls defense, Bican İleri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hatemi Cire. The istanbulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hatemi Cire should have stopped the shot. ASLANAS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
