Santos Montel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edrin Hajdaraga having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Montel in the 32nd minute of play forced Red Bull Club's goalkeeper Edrin Hajdaraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Santos Montel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edrin Hajdaraga. The goal made the score 3-0. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Atanas Živkov put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gonzalo Regis. Angel Lazarevski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 55th minute, Santos Montel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edrin Hajdaraga was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After having played for 62 minutes, Santos Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Montel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bojan Daev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gonzalo Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Nace Bardhi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gonzalo Regis, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Montel in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edrin Hajdaraga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Bull Club's goalkeeper Edrin Hajdaraga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Montel in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edrin Hajdaraga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edrin Hajdaraga having to interfere.
