An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Vito da Mata got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luciano Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gustavo Unai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito da Mata in the 21st minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Albino Nofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Fernando Laurgain got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Francisco Odilon hit a great ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres's goalkeeper Albino Nofre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Burko came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Unai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Burko in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alejo Jerardo hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Primitivo Fidele with Francisco Odilon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 40thth minute of the game Luciano Gipuzkoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The tension between the Talleres and the BURITIS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. BURITIS FC's Wilton Santos was substituted for Vito da Mata. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Luciano Gipuzkoa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Gustavo Unai 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Victor Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agostinho Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Gipuzkoa in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Wilton Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BURITIS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. Ariel Burko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luciano Gipuzkoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Gustavo Unai made a huge save. In the 75th minute of the match, Adolfo Diaz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Unai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 76 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Odilon. In the 79th minute, Joel Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Adolfo Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Unai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Burko got free with Gustavo Unai in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Unai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Burko. Talleres played a much better game than BURITIS FC and deserved their victory. The BURITIS FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
