When Cecilio Emmanuel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. Samurai Champions FC's Alexsandro Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Videl in the 29th minute of play. Astor Gaufred hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Gaufred in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Catarinense to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Catarinense in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Intxixu saved Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ from getting behind. After 71 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Silva. After a defensive mix-up in Samurai Champions FC's zone, Astor Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Netto came out of the goal and Astor Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raimundo Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Intxixu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Amaral in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Amaral in the 78th minute of play forced Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goalkeeper Fulgencio Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. In the 95th minute Raimundo Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
