The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, João Pedro da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samurai Champions FC and the Pinheiros Capibaras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samurai Champions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinheiros Capibaras FC the free kick. Norbert Glembin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alexsandro Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Célio Rezende got a free kick in the 13th minute. Norbert Glembin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Erivaldo Nunes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erivaldo Nunes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pinheiros Capibaras FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erivaldo Nunes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 26 minutes into the game, one of Pinheiros Capibaras FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ulisses Penha had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Renan Sena's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Renan Sena did a trick in the 29th minute in front of Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. Samurai Champions FC's Alexsandro Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Rezende in the 36th minute of play. Leopoldo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ulisses Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexsandro Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Glembin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Cauã Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Mauro Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Jeferson Amaral made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Ulisses Penha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Norbert Glembin scored 3-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexsandro Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeferson Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ulisses Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Samurai Champions FC's zone, Dieguinho Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Netto came out of the goal and Dieguinho Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dieguinho Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Glembin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célio Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Norbert Glembin notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Samurai Champions FC's Alexsandro Netto. Alexsandro Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeferson Amaral in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulisses Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norbert Glembin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pinheiros Capibaras FC's zone, Leopoldo Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses Penha came out of the goal and Leopoldo Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pinheiros Capibaras FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Samurai Champions FC to leave the ground with a draw.
