If Benjamim Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amauri Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Mendes in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, PEREBAH FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean de Moraes came free, but Amauri Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Proença having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliézer Terra in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, PEREBAH FC's Amauri Proença got control of the ball when João Francisco Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamim Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamim Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes PEREBAH FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Freitas. Amauri Proença was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Iuri Peixoto. After a defensive mix-up in PEREBAH FC's zone, João Francisco Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Proença came out of the goal and João Francisco Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Thiago Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PEREBAH FC's Diamantino Penha got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Jean de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEREBAH FC's Amauri Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute of the match, Almir Loureiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amauri Proença saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amauri Proença was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean de Moraes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play. After 96 played minutes PEREBAH FC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Godoi. The PEREBAH FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexilhão F. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
