The supporters of PEREBAH FC booed when LIVERPOOL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Horia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Mugur Martinaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Horia kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LIVERPOOL FC's zone, Afonso Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorel Bunescu came out of the goal and Afonso Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leontin Stoleru scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amauri Proença, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Stoleru in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amauri Proença saved PEREBAH FC from getting behind. Cássio Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, PEREBAH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Penha to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, PEREBAH FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Martinaș came free, but Amauri Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Horia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. PEREBAH FC's Afonso Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Horea Mititelu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, LIVERPOOL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vito de Sena came free, but Dorel Bunescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Mugur Martinaș fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LIVERPOOL FC's protests and gave Mugur Martinaș a yellow card for diving instead. The LIVERPOOL FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 91st minute, LIVERPOOL FC's Mugur Martinaș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amauri Proença. Amauri Proença yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Dorel Bunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Freitas in the 100th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LIVERPOOL FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
