Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leontin Stoleru took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 14 played minutes LIVERPOOL FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Horia. In the 14th minute, Almir Loureiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LIVERPOOL FC's Dorel Bunescu didn't even have to move. In the 21st minute Almir Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Bunescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Mugur Martinaș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisão Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Leontin Stoleru put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luisão Seco. Willian Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Leontin Stoleru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIVERPOOL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Stoleru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Peixoto. Leontin Stoleru took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisão Seco. Luisão Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. LIVERPOOL FC's Dorel Bunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Mendes in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Mexilhão F. C.'s Eliézer Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorel Bunescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

Mugur Martinaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Luisão Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mexilhão F. C.'s zone, Martin Buteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisão Seco came out of the goal and Martin Buteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisão Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Stoleru in the 59th minute of the match. Iuri Peixoto hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Mexilhão F. C.'s Luisão Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Stoleru in the 61st minute of play. LIVERPOOL FC were furious when Marius Slătineanu was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LIVERPOOL FC! Almir Loureiro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mugur Martinaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Seco having to interfere. Remus Papaiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes of play, Mexilhão F. C.'s João Francisco Mendes made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorel Bunescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 played minutes LIVERPOOL FC got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Gheondea. 97 minutes into the game, Gavril Ţintă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LIVERPOOL FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexilhão F. C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, LIVERPOOL FC's Gavril Ţintă got a free kick in the 97th minute. Mexilhão F. C.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because LIVERPOOL FC had won, even though Mexilhão F. C. had held more of the ball.
