Patrick Fontenot started the match with the kick off. Rufino Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Fontenot went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Fontenot in the 6th minute of play forced INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Rufino Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Heath. 8 minutes into the game, Rudolph Saunders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmos Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTOCABLES 2oo4 the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cosmos Soccer Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Roi Gonzalez's late challenge caught a Cosmos Soccer Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roi Gonzalez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, INTOCABLES 2oo4's Roi Gonzalez got a free kick in the 14th minute. Barea Quintero hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Hugo Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufino Paredes came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's Federico Maia. But to his dismay, Federico Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 29thth minute of the game Federico Maia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTOCABLES 2oo4's Rufino Paredes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rufino Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Muno Patiño hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Heath in the 46th minute of play forced INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Rufino Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roi Gonzalez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Fontenot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Rufino Paredes made a huge save. 53 minutes into the match, Patrick Fontenot notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of INTOCABLES 2oo4's Rufino Paredes. Rufino Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Federico Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rufino Paredes made a huge save. In the 60th minute Cosmos Soccer Club were awarded a corner. Grant McKay went to the cornerflag to take it. Patrick Fontenot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Rufino Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Donovan Heath fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos Soccer Club's protests and gave Donovan Heath a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of INTOCABLES 2oo4 booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Heath didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Patrick Fontenot took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Rufino Paredes to make any attempt to save it. Rufino Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Maia in the 73rd minute. Rufino Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Maia went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Federico Maia struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Rufino Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosmos Soccer Club. The crowd rose to their feet as Patrick Fontenot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rufino Paredes. That made the score 1-7 in the 85 minute of play. Rufino Paredes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-8. When the match was over Cosmos Soccer Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than INTOCABLES 2oo4 throughout the match.
